(Paris, France – January 25, 2010) David Edwards, Harvard professor of bioengineering, inventor, and writer, announces the formation of ArtScience Labs in a presentation at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Friday, January 29.
ArtScience Labs (artsciencelabs.org) is an international network of art and design labs aimed at promoting socially beneficial innovations through cultural experimentation at the frontiers of science. Dr. Edwards’ ArtScience Labs currently performs approximately fifty experiments annually to engage the creative minds of hundreds of students, artists, designers and scientists around the world, with innovative outcomes in education, industry, culture and society.
